PEER 1 guarantees their network will be available 100% of the time, excluding Maintenance. Customers are eligible for a credit for Network Downtime for any failure in PEER 1's Network, which can be verified by PEER 1's technical support team. "Network Downtime" is defined as an inability to transmit and receive data caused by failure of network equipment managed and owned by PEER 1, excluding maintenance.
Back-Up Systems
Peer 1 does not rely upon the local power grid to guarantee uptime. Their on-site, diesel-powered generators and centralized Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS) provide power conditioning and ensure uninterrupted data center operation. The generators are regularly tested to make certain that they will function as needed in the event of an emergency.
