Canada Web Hosting (CWH) has two Canadian data centers, one in Harbour Center, Vancouver, B.C. and the other at 151 Front Street, Toronto, Ont., where they use Peer 1 for some data center space in Toronto and Vancouver, but manage their own data center suite at 151 Front.
All servers in their data center are connected to the Internet via a fully redundant Cisco core and distribution switches and InterNAP's real-time routing optimization technology, to significantly reduce latency and packet loss on the middle-mile between their network and or client's end users.
With a few exceptions, all of CWH's server equipment was bought new in the last 18 months. They cycle servers out of production after approximately three years of use. Network and data center equipment is a mixture of new and resale and is all less than 24 months old. All re-sale devices have been certified. All data center network devices and NAS/SAN storage devices have up-to-date support contracts.
Their Toronto data center also features a unique deep lake cooling system, which keeps servers and equipment within temperature limits. The system utilizes natural, renewable cold energy from the deep waters of Lake Ontario.

CWH has an industry leading 100% Infrastructure and Network uptime guarantee with a 1 hour Hardware Replacement guarantee. Compensation is credited to the customer's next invoice.
Back-Up Systems
At their Toronto facility they have fully redundant power systems in place for customer's piece of mind. They provide clients with dual power supply servers, plugged into two different power circuits, connected to two different UPSs, connected to two different ATSs and connected to two different diesel generators and redundant utility feeds. They also use APC InfrastruXure ™ power and environment management with remote power control for all servers.
All of their data centers cover all levels of power redundancy, including a backup power generator and large diesel storage tanks and a supply contract.
